Speaking with TheManRoom about the upcoming "After the Sunset" DVD, the voracious Director Brett Ratner briefly touched upon plans for the next "Rush Hour" movie and another project of his long in development:
What spurred the decision to shoot Rush Hour 3 and 4 back-to-back, assuming that is still on the plate?
Ratner: We're actually not going to do that. That was just an idea. I would love to have done that but it's too hard to get just one movie that works let alone two. It was designed as a trilogy.
Is Chris Tucker still on track to be involved in the sequel?
Ratner: Absolutely. He is kind of the key to it.
Do you have any updates for our readers about the progress on Josiah's Canon and who might be taking Sean Connery's role?
Ratner: I don't know, we're looking right now for a star. It's not easy.
