Mila Kunis and Adam Scott are in negotiations to join the cast of "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane's feature directorial debut "Ted" at Universal Pictures and Media Rights Capital says Heat Vision.
A mix of live-action with computer animation, the $65 million feature revolves around a thirty-something Boston man (Mark Wahlberg) whose childhood teddy bear came to life and is now a cursing, smoking, delinquent that prevents the man from maturing.
Kunis will play Wahlberg's girlfriend, who wants their relationship to move to the next level and has had enough of the bear. Adam Scott will play her boss who uses her frustration as a means to get close to her.
MacFarlane, who co-wrote the script with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, will provide the voice of the titular CG-animated Ted.
