By Garth Franklin Monday March 21st 2005 02:45PM

Hugh Jackman has committed to star alongsie Jason Isaacs and Romola Garai in "Good," an independent film adaptation of the C.P. Taylor stage play reports Variety.

John Wrathall wrote the script and Lone Scherfig ("Italian For Beginners") will direct.

Jackman will play a professor who has been seduced by Germany's national pride and renaissance during the early 1930s as well as a flirtation with a student (Garai). Isaacs plays his Jewish friend.

Jackman, who just finished the Darren Aronofsky-directed "The Fountain," is prepping one-man touring show "Hugh Jackman: In Time," which premieres April 30 at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. He'll then star in "Good" and then is expected to reprise his Wolverine role in "X-Men 3."
