On April 19, the Tribeca Film Festival, a celebration of cinema and community, returns with hundreds of films and plenty of special events, including free screenings under the stars and an all-day street fair in New York City. Today the official line-up was announced and amongst the big films on offer.
Amongst the titles are special screenings of the controversial "Nine Songs", the wide release horror remake "House of Wax", the Diane Lane / Donald Sutherland coming of age tale "Fierce People", the curious Ian McKellen / Natasha Richardson thriller "Asylum", Gregg Araki's latest effort "Mysterious Skin", the Joan Allen romance drama "Yes", the Russian hit "Night Watch", Charles Dance's "Ladies in Lavendar", Wong Kar Wai's acclaimed "2046", and the North American premiere of Nicole Kidman thriller "The Interpreter".
