Monty Python funnyman and filmmaker Terry Jones is teaming with "The Daily Show" correspondent John Oliver for the upcoming comedy "Absolutely Anything" at Phoenix Pictures reports Deadline.
The story is said to involve "aliens, a goofy Brit, a talking dog and buckets of silliness." Oliver will star in the lead male role, while Robin Williams apparently wants to voice the film's talking dog. It's expected some of the former Python cast could lend their voices to the aliens.
Jones will direct from a script he co-wrote with Gavin Scott. Mike Medavoy and Brad Fischer are producing and shooting kicks off next spring.
