The Tribeca Film Festival seems to be moving up and forward in the world with this fourth edition of the DeNiro-founded festival expanding and opening earlier this year with an April 19th - May 1st schedule.
As a result it will feature 60 world premieres, eight international premieres and 34 North American premieres. While most will be new indie films, some high profile mainstream films will make their debut with Sydney Pollack's United Nations-set thriller "The Interpreter" already set as the opening-night film.
Also on the schedule is Warners horror flick "House of Wax", the high profile Lions Gate drama "Fierce People" with Diane Lane & Donald Sutherland, and the Maggie Gyllenhaal/Edie Falco drama "The Great New Wonderful". Details about the fest can be found at the official site.
