Bruce Willis has chosen his next project, the simple concept thriller "16 Blocks" to be directed by Richard Donner for Millennium Films reports Variety.
Production is slated to begin this summer in New York on the project written by Richard Wenk, and concerns an aging cop who is forced to escort a high profile witness to the nearby courthouse sixteen blocks away. Catch is a lot of people are looking for this guy and more than happy to take both of them out on their brief walk.
This will be Donner's first pic since the 2003 adaptation of Michael Crichton's time-travel drama "Timeline." Willis' latest pic, "Hostage," opens Friday through Miramax Films.
