The sexiest near middle-aged man on Earth, a very talented recent Oscar winning Aussie actress and a young Spanish heartthrob with a penchant for wet undies are all teaming together for the first time.
Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett and Gael Garcia Bernal are in negotiations to team for "Babel," a drama that Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu is directing and Paramount Pictures is the final stages of acquiring says The Hollywood Reporter.
"Babel" will portray four interweaving stories set in Morocco, Tunisia, Mexico and Japan. The action starts with a tragedy striking a married couple on vacation. The drama will reteam Inarritu with screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga. The two also collaborated on "21 Grams" and "Amores Perros". This is also the first major move under new studio chief Brad Grey for Paramount Pictures.
