By Garth Franklin Thursday March 3rd 2005 09:07PM

Shannyn Sossamon ("A Knight's Tale", "The Order") and Alecia Moore, better known as pop singer Pink, will topline "Catacombs," the first film to stem from a nine-picture deal from Lions Gate Films and Twisted Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is co-written and co-directed by David Elliot and Tomm Coker. "Catacombs" is the story of a young woman who, while on a visit to Paris (her first trip overseas), goes to a party in the Catacombs, a 200-mile labyrinth of ancient limestone tunnels under Paris lined with the remains of seven million people. When separated from her friends, she becomes convinced that someone or something is chasing her.

Production is scheduled to begin Monday in Bucharest. Elliot and writing partner Paul Lovett wrote "Four Brothers" for Paramount Pictures. Coker previously wrote and directed the short film "A Day Between."
