Universal & Rogue Announce New Dates

Universal Pictures have announced several new dates for their Australian release schedule, in two cases the first dates scheduled anywhere for those films.

The Simon Pegg comedy "Paul" is set for an April 14th 2011 release in Oz, while "Untitled Judd Apatow Comedy" (probably the Kristen Wiig one) hits a month later on May 12th 2011.

The same release schedule notice also mentions "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" opening August 12th 2010 and "Fast Five" June 9th 2011, which are both the day before the U.S. release. So we can probably expect a similar pattern with the other two.

Meanwhile in the U.S., Universal's genre label Rogue Pictures have set a January 28th 2011 release for the dramedy "Kids in America" (previously called "Young Americans") which was shot way back in early 2007.

They've also announced a March 18th 2011 release date for the Neil Burger-directed thriller "The Dark Fields", starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro.
