RTE Interactive reports that John Travolta and James Gandolfini will star in "Lonely Hearts," a drama written and to be directed by Todd Robinson.
Production begins March in Jacksonville, Florida and is based on the true story of two homicide detectives who captured and convicted Martha Beck and Raymond Martinez Fernandez, the "Lonely Hearts Killers" of the 1940s who found their victims through personal ads.
Robinson makes his feature directorial debut with "Lonely Hearts," having previously been known for his writing jobs with the upcoming "The Last Full Measure" and the 1996 Ridley Scott flick "White Squall".
