Freddie Prinze Jr. and Ving Rhames are tipped to be starring in Seven Arts Pictures' "Poolhall Prophets," written and directed by Keoni Waxman according to Variety.
Currently in production in New Orleans, the story follows a street smart pool player who joins a group of pool hustlers. He gains some notoriety in the underground world until he finds himself in the middle of a high-stakes match between his boss and a corrupt cop.
Filming is tipped to wrap by the end of this month, with Blockbuster Video set to release the film in the Fall. Seven Arts produced the upcoming "Noise" and has acquired and will distribute "Supercross" with 20th Century Fox next year.
