Now that he's back on top thanks to "National Treasure", Nicolas Cage is a hot commodity again and already many are wondering what he'll do next.

First up at a public Q&A screening in Sydney this week, Director David Goyer confirmed that Ghost Rider will definitely be shooting in Melbourne and when a member of the audience asked if Nic Cage was locked in to star, he said "Yeah he is, well, as of four days ago".

Goyer is no longer involved in the project though did write an early rejected draft which included a scene "in which Johnny Blaze was thrown in prison, he then warns the prison guards that they need to let him out or something bad will happen. Later that night, Blaze turns into Ghost Rider, he then proceeds to melt the bars of his cell, stalking down the murder wing of the prison, incinerating all the prisoners with his eyes. The guards find him the next morning naked".

Cool, in related Cage news Universal is currently in the process of remaking the Korean revenge flick "Old Boy" for American audiences with Director Justin Lin ("Better Luck Tomorrow") helming the tale of a newly released prisoner out on a rampage. So who's tipped to play the guy? Yep, Cage.

According to CHUD and The Korean Herald, the actor was recently in Korea to promote "National Treasure" and meet the parents of his wife, and declared a desire to star in the US version of the award-winning Park Chan-wook flick.
