After seemingly years of talk, the "Arrested Development" movie has finally scored some movement with creator Mitchell Hurwitz and co-executive producer James Vallely at last working on the screenplay says The Hollywood Reporter.
Hurwitz previously said that he wouldn't start writing a film unless all the main actors from the acclaimed cult hit Fox TV series were committed to returning.
Now that everyone's onboard, work has begun on the scripts which will see more bizarre encounters for the eccentric, spoiled Bluth clan.
Production however remains more uncertain, though a shooting date of next Spring has been suggested which means the film could be out as early as late next year.
Scheduling however is still being worked out with the various stars such as Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, David Cross, Will Arnett, Alia Shawkat, Portia de Rossi and Jeffrey Tambor.
Hurwitz himself is expected to direct.
