Ford Says Indy IV Still Happening

By Garth Franklin Friday December 3rd 2004 04:32PM

The Indy Experience reports that IESB.net was in attendance for a special event for "Hotel Rwanda" to benefit Amnesty International which was hosted by Harrison Ford and Angelina Jolie. Ford was interviewed backstage and asked about a fourth "Indiana Jones":

Is Indy 4 still going to be made? Ford: "No doubt about it."

Could a younger actor play Indiana Jones in Indy 4? Ford: "No problem, but Indy IV is mine." Ford also added that he wouldn't mind having a younger actor play Indy in future films, which is similar to what was done with the James Bond films after Sean Connery left.

Will you be doing your own stunts?

Ford: "At least some of them."

Ford also said that George Lucas was happy with the new draft, and that he wouldn't mind having a younger actor play Indy in future films so the series could become like the Bond franchise (changing lead actors every few films).
