Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay ("Crazy/Beautiful," "Clash of the Titans") have been hired to write "Staycation" for Warner Bros. Pictures says Variety.
"The Hangover" and "Road Trip" director Todd Phillips came up with the concept and will produce the film. Details of the plot are being kept under wraps.
Phillips has made no commitment to direct at this point.
