The guys behind "Crank" and "Pathology" are back for "Gamer", a so-so looking action film with video game players controlling real life prisoners through VR in a brutal war game scenario.
The gritty visuals sadly remind one of last year's odious "Death Race", though the presence of Gerard Butler and "Dexter" star Michael C. Hall give some hope.
