'msquared' has sent along some new photos from the Detroit shooting of "The Island". The first were taken at the abandoned Michigan Central Train Depot. The building is 91-years old, a landmark but it has been vacant for about 17 years.
The city's locations are substituting for a rundown future version of Los Angeles. Also amongst the shots are dummy doubles for stars Ewan McGregor & Scarlett Johansson, the Helicat motorcycles, and another scene with the film's oppressive bad guys - the LAPD:
