"George Clooney will direct and star in Section Eight pic "Goodnight. And Good Luck," financed by 2929 Entertainment. David Strathairn and Patricia Clarkson will also star. Pic is the story of broadcaster Edward R. Murrow's on-air confrontations with Sen. Joseph McCarthy, which helped bring down the infamous politician. "Director Fred Schepisi is attached to direct "Last Man," based on the true story of a five-man Australian special forces squad inserted behind enemy lines in the jungle in the dying days of the war.
