Fox Atomic is in talks to pick up the murder mystery "Shimmer Lake" from debut scribe Oren Uziel says Production Weekly.
"Lake" centers on a sheriff investigating a series of murders as well as the disappearance of a bank robber, with clues and the movie's timeline leading back to a heist the robber committed.
Oren Uziel wrote the spec script, which was a finalist at the Austin Film Festival last year, and Barry Josephson will produce.
