James Mangold ("3:10 to Yuma," "Two Lovers") will direct an untitled true-life lawsuit drama for Bold Films says the trades.
The story revolves around two New Orleans brothers who as lawyers take on one of the world's largest oil companies and most prestigious law firms as they fight to represent the families of victims of an oil rig which sank in the South China Sea in a typhoon.
Casey La Scala ("Grind") and Sasha Jenson penned the screenplay. Mangold, Cathy Konrad, Michel Litvak and David Lancaster will produce.
