1/4life: Rachel Blanchard, Jacob Pitts and Shiri Appleby have been cast in "1/4life," a new ABC ensemble drama from the creators of "thirtysomething.". Are We There Yet?: Pics of Nia Long in the Ice Cube comedy are up at Blackfilm. Batman Begins: A first good clean look at the Batsuit is up at JoBlo, whilst a great Batmobile piece is up at SHH. Batman: Animated Series: Toonzone reports that Kevin Conroy, the voice of "Batman" in every animated series incarnation, said at a Comic-Con this weekend that more direct-to-video features in the Classic Timm style are on the way. And yes, a feature based on the new "The Batman" series is still on tap as well. Bond 21: More commentary by Brosnan about his leaving is up at MI6. Casshern: IGN has stated that the Japan film was grabbed by Dreamworks.

Grounded for Life (TV): The WB Network has pulled the plug on the comedy by opting not to pick up more episodes of the show beyond the 13 ordered in May according to CNN. Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban: EIGHT preview clips from the upcoming Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban DVD are at HPANA. Janis Joplin Biopic: Renee Zellweger talked about the project to Moviehole. Ocean's Twelve: Heaps of pics from the sequel are up at Blackfilm. Star Wars: Episode III: AOL subscribers will be able to view SW:ROTS teaser trailer on November 4th. Aussie cinemagoers can see it in theatres with "Taxi" on November 11th according to Hoyts. Stone Cold: The Boston Globe reports CBS is going to be adapting the Robert B. Parker novel into a TV movie. Tom Selleck stars as Jesse Stone, an alcoholic ex-LAPD homicide detective who became police chief in the small Massachusetts town of Paradise and now has to take down a pair of thrill-killers who have targeted him next. Mimi Rogers and Viola Davis will also star in it.

Superman: AICN reports that Iceman himself, Shawn Ashmore, may have been cast in Bryan Singer's Superman as Jimmy Olsen.
