Revolution Studios has picked up the script for the romantic comedy "Made in Italy". Sara Endsley is on board to rewrite Julie Sherman's original script. The story centers on a female exec for a chain of gourmet food stores who travels to Italy and falls in love with the handsome olive oil producer with whom she is hoping to close an important deal. Screenwriter Larry Gross ("48 Hours", "True Crime ") is set to write and direct "Nothing Compares to You" for Beverly Hills Film Studios. Principal photography is set to begin early next year. Gross won the Waldo Salt Screenwriter's Award at this year's Sundance Film Festival for "We Don't Live Here Anymore." Screenwriter Simon Beaufoy, who wrote "The Full Monty," has been signed to write the romantic comedy "It's Not You, It's Me" for Guy Walks Into a Bar and Paramount Pictures. Todd Komarnicki and Jon Berg will produce the film about a twentysomething guy who interviews his ex-girlfriends so he can begin looking for the girl of his dreams.
