Valhalla Motion Pictures has picked up film rights to Dennis Hopeless and Kevin Mellon's graphic novel "Gearhead" says Variety.
The story revolves around a young woman who leaves the drag strip to team up with a group of rebels to fight the corrupt superheroes who govern the US.
Gale Anne Hurd ("The Incredible Hulk," "Punisher: War Zone") will produce.
