Nanette Burstein ("American Teen," "The Kid Stays in the Picture") is set to direct romantic comedy "Going the Distance" for New Line Cinema and Offspring Entertainment reports Variety.
The story centers on a couple trying to maintain a long-distance relationship while one lives in Chicago and the other in Los Angeles.
Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot will produce. Geoff LaTulippe penned the script.
