Don't worry, there's no botched plan to remake "The Haunting of Hil House" yet again, that abomination from a few years back was bad enough.
Today's Variety reports that Donald Sutherland, Sissy Spacek, James D'Arcy ("Master & Commander") and Rachel Hurd-Wood ("Peter Pan") will star in "An American Haunting," a gothic ghost story that begins filming in Romania this week.
Written and directed by Courtney Solomon ("Dungeons & Dragons"), the film is based on events that took place in Tennessee during the early 1800s. Solomon adapted his screenplay from Brent Monahan's book "The Bell Witch: An American Haunting."
