Cheech Marin will star in, write and direct the dramedy "Angel of Oxnard" for HighRoad Entertainment reports Variety.
The story centers on Angel Mejias (Marin), the voice of Oxnard's version of the Home Shopping Network, who finds himself in the middle of a worldwide media storm when his face appears on a tortilla.
Known for his on-screen work in everything from "Desperado" to TV's "Heroes", he's currently on a nationwide tour with his ex-partner Tommy Chong.
