Austin Chick is writing and will develop an untitled Hamptons-based thriller for Screen Gems says The Hollywood Reporter.
Described as "Cruel Intentions" meets "A Simple Plan", the story revolves around three early twenty-somethings -- two brothers and a brother's girlfriend -- who, while vacationing in the Hamptons, come upon a cache of money.
They get embroiled in an increasingly complex plan to divide it up and elude the money's true owners, who are pursuing them. A love triangle also ensues.
Shooting will begin in March on Long Island with casting to be announced shortly.
