More Updates from Heaven

There's always an excuse for some Orlando flesh, today's no different. More translations have been made of articles on the Bloom-sters new Crusades flick with Ridley Scott currently shooting in Spain. Here's the most concise report, courtesy of those great gals at Orlando Multimedia:

"Shooting finishes there today in the early afternoon, after two weeks of work in the castle.

Today is the day that British director Ridley Scott will say the typical movie phrase "cut" in the Loarre Castle; ending filming in Alto Aragon this afternoon. Tomorrow the crew will move on to Segovia, where they will be shooting in the forest for four days. Afterwards they will travel to Avila, Córdoba (Palma del Rio) and on to Sevilla, where they will work for 12 days.

Finally, on February 27th the crew of Kingdom of Heaven will change continents and start shooting in Morocco. All of yesterday was spent shooting footage in the forest of the riders. Yesterday evening, the most spectacular scene was shot in the village; of the brand of the forge and the workshop. Though the fires were impressive, there wasn't a single moment of danger.

Quinn Donoghue, spokesperson for the producing company Fox, spoke highly of the team's two weeks in Alto Aragón: "It has been a great time and everything went well. Our main concern was the weather, but it was marvelous. We had also the support of everybody; especially the mayors and we are very satisfied. The whole world will get to know the castle better and this is good for everyone."

To celebrate the farewell, the production team has planned a ceremony in the medieval village for 17:00 Hrs. The city government of Loarre, the Association of Friends of Loarre Castle and the local Lodging Guild will give Ridley Scott and the producers of the movie scale models of the medieval fortress. This symbolic gesture will mark the definite end of this adventure. When the ceremony is over, the impressive set built for the two weeks of filming will be pulled apart".
