Warner Bros. Pictures is setting estimates for a $90-100 million haul for the opening weekend of "The Dark Knight" next weekend, a number quite Deadline Hollywood Daily calls far too conservative.
Other box-office gurus are setting the figure at around $130 million, making it the third highest opening weekend of all time behind "Spider-Man 3" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest".
The Ebert & Roeper video review is online and its gushingly positive. Only 15 official reviews on the Rotten Tomatoes page for the film so far. Its 'Average Rating' is 8.2/10 which makes it equal first with "Spider-Man 2" in terms of comic book movie adaptations. On Metacritic its so far scoring 94/100, making it the equally best-reviewed film of the year so far alongside "Wall-E".
