Overture Films has siged a two-year, first-look deal with Philip Seymour Hoffman's Cooper's Town Productions reports the trades.
The pair will first team up on "Unconditional", an adaptation of Brett C. Leonard's LAByrinth Theater Company play which centers on an interlocking set of stories about lonely New Yorkers and covers such themes as race, love and betrayal.
Leonard will adapt his own work for the screen. Hoffman likely will not act in the production.
