Prom Night Revisited

By Garth Franklin Wednesday October 6th 2004 11:32PM

Coming Soon reports that "The Grudge" screenwriter Stephen Susco is writing horror film "Prom Night" for Neal Moritz's Original Film at Sony Pictures. Production is slated to begin early next year.

The film is loosely based on the 1980 film of the same name starring Jamie Lee Curtis.

In an interview with SMGFan, Susco says he also wrote "Threshold", which is close to finding a director. He's currently working on a big sci-fi epic for Warner Bros. Pictures called "The Forge of God".

Susco adapted the Jack Ketchum horror novel "Red", with Lucky McKee directing, and wrote the remake of the hit Quebecois horror film "Evil Words" for Dimension.

Thanks to 'Mirkin'.
