The 17th annual "2008 MTV Movie Awards" took place Sunday night with Mike Myers hosting. The usual partying celebrities and performances were in tow, as were some exclusive movie clips and comedic skits.
First up, the winners of this year's awards were:
Best Movie: Transformers
Best Male Performance: Will Smith - I Am Legend
Best Female Performance: Ellen Page - Juno
Breakthrough Performance: Zac Efron - Hairspray
Best Comedic Performance: Johnny Depp - Pirates of the Caribbean: A.W.E.
Best Kiss: Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman - Step Up 2 The Streets
Best Villain: Johnny Depp - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Best Fight: Sean Faris vs. Cam Gigandet - Never Back Down
Best Summer Movie So Far: Iron Man
Onto the important stuff - the clips. First up comes a montage of new clips from "Hancock," "Wanted" and "American Mall". That's followed by the first clip from the film version of Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight". Finally comes the brilliant Downey Jr.-Stiller-Black comedy bit for "Tropic Thunder":
