Oscar winner Ben Kingsley is to star opposite Josh Hartnett and Lucy Liu in the new noir gangster drama "Lucky Number Sleven" according to RTE Interactive.
Kingsley will play Shlomo (aka the Rabbi), the head of the biggest crime syndicate in New York. Hartnett's character is caught in a case of mistaken identity and used by the mob boss as a patsy in a murder conspiracy.
Shooting on the Paul McGuigan-directed film will begin on the 7th December in Montreal and New York. McGuigan and Hartnett worked together before on the currently released drama "Wicker Park".
