Variety indicates that Disney has paid low-six figures for the pitch "Hip Hop Nanny." The comedy, penned by Michelle McGrath, is based on the true story of a Scottish woman who comes to the United States to become a nanny for a hip hop/rap couple and their child.

Friedman have come on board as writers. "Open Season," which features the voices of Martin Lawrence and Ashton Kutcher, is a buddy comedy about a happily domesticated 900-pound grizzly bear named Boog (Lawrence), who has his comfortable world turned upside down when he meets a fast-talking wild mule deer named Elliot (Kutcher).
Thanks to 'Tuppence'.
