MTV reports that Jessica's other half - sister Ashlee Simpson who has not only had her own show, album and appeared on "7th Heaven"; is now headed to the movies. Simpson has been cast in "Wannabe," which starts shooting in November.
Simpson says "The movie involves music and actors, and all that kind of stuff. I play an actor, and it's basically about musicians trying to find their way. There's a guy who gets too old to be a musician, and all of us become his fan club. So it's going to be a great movie, and [studio] Lions Gate does edgier films, so it's going to be really exciting".
That description sounds a little at odds to earlier reports which label this as essentially a mobster movie about young gangsters defying their elders and setting out on their own blood rampages.
