Zap2It reports that Milla Jovovich has signed on to star with Billy Bob Thornton in "Fade Out," replacing "Underworld" star Kate Beckinsale who was originally slated to play Thornton's wife.
The independent film is scheduled to begin shooting in May in Nova Scotia. Written and Directed by Michael Cristofer, ("Original Sin"), follows a screenwriter with schizophrenia (Thornton) who thinks his wife is trying to murder him. He begins to write a script that mirrors his everyday life, and the line between fiction and reality quickly begin to blur.
Jovovich is keeping quiet as to whether her character is actually attempting to knock-off her hubby or not.
