Real Steel
Karl Yune has joined the cast of the Shawn Levy-directed, Hugh Jackman-starring “Real Steel” for DreamWorks Studios reports Variety.

Yune will play the role of Tak Mashido, a robot boxer designer. Shooting is currently underway in Detroit.

Battleship
Actress/model Brooklyn Decker has joined Peter Berg’s sci-fi/action epic “Battleship” for Universal Pictures says Deadline.

Decker will portray the love interest of Taylor Kitsch’s lead character, a rebel naval officer who must help fend off an alien invasion on the water. Shooting shortly kicks off in Hawaii.

The Kid Table
Ivan Reitman is set to produce an adaptation of Andrea Seigel’s upcoming coming of age novel “The Kid Table” according to Production Weekly.

Justin Adler (“Better Off Ted,” “Samantha Who?”) will pen the screenplay.

Anna Karenina
A 1961 adaptation of Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina, starring Claire Bloom and Sean Connery a year before he starred in “Dr. No”, has been rediscovered by BBC archivists 49 years after it was first shown reports The BBC.

A DVD release of the production, which aired in November of 1961, is planned.
