“Case 39”, the much-delayed horror-thriller starring Renee Zellweger, Ian McShane, and Bradley Cooper, has finally scheduled a January 1st 2010 release date – over two years after its initial August 2007 release.

IMAX Corporation and Sony Pictures Releasing today announced that the highly-anticipated motion picture Michael Jackson’s This Is It will be released for a special run in select digital IMAX theaters worldwide during the film’s limited two-week engagement in thousands of theaters globally starting on October 28th 2009.

The last two of Summer’s pre-August major films have set DVD/Blu-ray release dates – “Public Enemies” will be on November 4th while “The Hangover” will hit on December 15th.

Columbia Pictures has announced that the studio will unveil a two-minute scene from Roland Emmerich’s 2012 on October 1st followed by an extended five-minute scene to be shown on Comcast and Fancast.com.
