The Homesman
Saban Films and Roadside Attractions are teaming for the U.S. theatrical distribution of the Tommy Lee Jones western “The Homesman”. Jones, Hilary Swank, Grace Gummer, Miranda Otto, Hailee Steinfeld, James Spader, Sonja Richter and Meryl Streep star in the film which will open this fall on November 7th. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Jerry Bruckheimer confirms that his company is aiming to shoot the fifth film in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise in early 2015, which indicates the film is headed for a Summer 2016 release. [Source: First Coast]

Dumb and Dumber To
The recent trailer launch for “Dumb and Dumber To” scored 23.5 million views on YouTube in its first week. To put that in comparison, the second highest trailer launch for the week was the James Franco/Seth Rogen-led comedy “The Interview” which bowed to just 3.4 million views. Prometheus 2
Out doing press for “The Rover,” Guy Pearce was asked if he’d be up for working on Ridley Scott’s upcoming “Prometheus” sequel – despite what happened to his character in the first.

He tells IGN: “I’d love to go back and play that character again. To work for Ridley again, you know, he’s great — really wonderful to work for. So yeah, I’m very curious to see what he will do next with it.”
