-The American Film Market was awash with first look publicity stills including: Brad Pitt in The Tree of Life, Harrison Ford in Crossing Over, Ryan Gosling in All Good Things, John Cusack and Chow Yun-Fat in Shanghai, five shots from George Romero’s untitled new zombie movie, a bald & goateed John Travolta in From Paris with Love, Jessica Alba in An Invisible Sign of My Own.

“The Sony Animation film adaptation of the popular 80’s cartoon “The Smurfs” will come out December 17th 2010. The project, which will mix CGI animation and live-action segments, will likely have to face Disney Animation’s “Rapunzel” due sometime around Christmas 2010.”

The story revolves around a former singer (Renee Zelwegger), now confined to a wheelchair, who embarks on a road trip with her friend (Forest Whitaker) to Memphis.
