xXx: The Return of Xander Cage
Having posted various behind-the-scenes photos over the past few weeks, Vin Diesel has used his social media accounts to now post the first official still from the upcoming “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”. A shot of him and co-star Deepika Padukone holding knives to each other’s throats, the film itself is still very much in production ahead of its release early next year. [Source: Facebook]

Agent Carter
Having just wrapped its second season run, there’s a lot of talk right now with many wondering about the fate of ABC’s “Marvel’s Agent Carter”. Talking with IGN, Atwell says none of those involved will know if the show will be back either way until the network upfronts in May.

The recent second season has proven more critically acclaimed than the first, and the studio executives love it, but ratings have been decidedly underwhelming which has led to the speculation about its chances for survival. [Source: IGN]

Creed
Jimmy Kimmel has managed to enlist comedian Tracy Morgan for a new sketch spoofing last year’s much beloved “Rocky” spin-off/continuation “Creed”. In the clip Morgan plays Clubber Lang Jr, the son of Rocky’s rival from “Rocky III” – a character played by Mr. T in the film and by Mike Tyson in the skit. Check it out in full below:

Pete the Cat
Alcon Entertainment has secured the rights to develop the popular children’s book series “Pete the Cat” as an animated TV series. “Phineas and Ferb” co-creator Swampy Marsh has been tapped as the show runner, and will executive produce. Created by James Dean in 1999, there are now over 22 published books in the series including picture books, storybooks and songbooks. [Source: Alcon Entertainment]

10 Cloverfield Lane
