X-Men Apocalypse
A new trailer for Bryan Singer’s “X-Men: Apocalypse” is set to drop within a day, before that though the helmer released a new behind-the-scenes photo featuring Ben Hardy’s Angel standing over his defeated cage fighting opponent who appears to be The Blob. Kevin Durand played the character in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” but that doesn’t appear to be the case here. [Source: Instagram]

Man Alive
20th Century Fox has set “Fargo” TV series creator Noah Hawley to make his feature film directorial debut on the elevated sci-fi thriller “Man Alive”. Joe Greenberg has penned the script for the project while Aengus McLoone, Leigh Kittay, John Cameron, Chris Bender, Jake Weiner and Jake Wagner will produce. [Source: Deadline]

Couple Up
Lionsgate has closed a deal for Joshua Friedlander’s spec script “Couple Up” which will be distributed through its Codeblack Films label.

A married couple, verging on divorce, wishes they had never met. With “It’s a Wonderful Life”-type scenario, they see what life would have been if they had never gotten together. [Source: Deadline]

Ghostbusters
However you feel about it, the upcoming reboot of the “Ghostbusters” franchise is not that far off and so the promotional blitz for the film is about to get underway. A new phase kicked off this weekend with three new action posters which first popped up on the official “Ghostbusters” Twitter account. The film itself hits in July.
