DreamWorks Animation have shifted two Thanksgiving release films to the weekends before Christmas. Now, instead of opening against/between big-budget comic films they’ll open against two of the “Avatar’ sequels.

The two films that have undergone changes are “The Croods 2” which now hits December 22nd 2017, and “Puss in Boots 2: Nine Lives & 40 Thieves” which now opens December 21st 2018. [Source: Coming Soon]

Past Due
Robert Lorenz (“Trouble with the Curve”) is set to direct “Past Due,” a film based on Thompson Evans’ Blacklist script. The story is described as a female version of David Cronenberg’s “A History of Violence”. [Source: Variety]
