Star Wars: Episode VIII
Tim Burton’s regular production designer Rick Heinrichs has come onboard Rian Johnson’s “Star Wars: Episode VIII” in that capacity.

Heinrichs has served as production designer on films such as “Sleepy Hollow,” “Fargo,” “The Big Lebowski,” the second and third “Pirates of the Caribbean” films, “The Wolfman,” “Frankenweenie” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”. [Source: Variety]

The sequel to the illusionist heist thriller “Now You See Me” has scored an official title – “Now You See Me: The Second Act”.

In the new film, the Four Horsemen resurface and find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet. [Source: Coming Soon]

Steve Jobs Biopic
Universal has officially picked up the Aaron Sorkin-penned biopic about tech visionary and late Apple chief Steve Jobs, nabbing the project after Sony put it in turnaround last week. Danny Boyle is still set to direct. [Source: Screen]

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Producer David Heyman has confirmed that “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling has completed a ‘wonderful script’ for the upcoming spin-off film and potential trilogy launcher “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. Wanted 2
Producer Marc Platt says that despite it being six years later, a script is still in development for a sequel to 2008’s Mark Millar comic adaptation “Wanted” and it is ‘coming along’. However it’s challenging as they lost a main character in the first film which was never designed to have a sequel. [Source: CBM]
