Newly released casting calls for Michael Bay’s upcoming fifth “Transformers” film have confirmed that principal photography on the film will take place starting in June in both London and Detroit. Producer Sarah Green has confirmed that acclaimed filmmaker Terrence Malick’s next picture, the Austin music scene based movie starring Ryan Gosling and Michael Fassbender, has scored a title – “Weightless”. The name was first suggested but dismissed by Malick’s last spring, but it looks like he’s sticking with it. H2O Motion Pictures has begun development of the Dan Mazer-penned and Michael Dowse-directed rock star comedy “Stiff”. The story follows a 1980s rock star who falls into a thirty-year coma and wakes to find the world and his family have moved on without him. Shooting begins late Sumer in London. [Source: Variety]

Maven Pictures and “Going Clear” producer Jacqui Lewis are teaming to produce a film adaptation of Zelda la Grange’s bestselling novel “Good Morning, Mr. Mandela”. The story follows the unlikely but true story of la Grange’s friendship and career with former President Nelson Mandela for over two decades as his personal assistant and right-hand person.
