Dark Souls III
Bandai Namco today announced that the highly-anticipated action RPG title “Dark Souls 3 ” is set to debut on April 12th 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. To celebrate the news, a new trailer with gameplay footage is out.

There will be two editions available – a Day One edition with soundtrack and exclusive packaging, and a ‘Collector’s Edition’ with an official art book, cloth game map, 10″ Red Knight statue and collector’s box. [Source: Forbes]

Leos Carax’s Next
Rooney Mara and Adam Driver are reportedly circling the next project of “Holy Motors” director Leos Carax says Les Inrockuptibles. The project is said to be a hyper-stylized with the story progressing through sung dialogue.

The project is likely the musical comedy project that pop band Sparks revealed they were working on with Carax earlier this year. Caroline Champetier (“Of Gods and Men,” “Holy Motors”) serves as cinematographer on the film which needs to secure a 10 to 12 million Euro budget. [Source: The Film Stage]

Burning Woman
Ridley Scott’s son Jake Scott is set to direct the thriller “The Burning Woman” for his father’s Scott Free company. His dad, Michael Pruss, Michael Schaefer and Erika Olde are producing.

Brad Ingelsby’s script centers on a young grandmother who lives with her daughter and her grandson, and follows her journey as she strives to cope, find love, and raise her grandson after her daughter goes missing. [Source: Variety]

Guardians of the Galaxy
Fans of Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” will be amused by a new video which went online today on Yahoo Movies showing off Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista auditioning for the roles of Star-Lord and Drax the Destroyer. The chemistry read sees the pair trying out an early version of a scene that ended up in the movie.
