News Bits: Rogue, Furious, Ant-Man, Eight, Four

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
Sky dance Productions CCO Dana Goldberg says that the new sequel was tested in Arizona a few weeks ago and test scores for it came back even higher than the previous entry “Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol”. Right now, Paramount looks like it may have another commercial and critically successful entry in the series. [Source: Collider]

Furious 8
Vin Diesel was recently asked by Access Hollywood about quotes from Dame Helen Mirren from back in March about her desire to play a villain role in the “Fast and Furious” franchise. Asked if he would like to see her in the next movie, he said: “Of course I would! Who wouldn’t? It’s Helen.”

A lengthy new international trailer for Marvel’s upcoming “Ant-Man” film seemingly spoils much of the story beats of the movie. For those who want to wait for the film, which scored solid if subdued reactions from its first screenings for critics this week, the wait isn’t much longer as the movie is slated for release on July 17th.

The Fantastic Four
20th Century Fox has released a new TV spot for the upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot opening in August, a TV spot with a heavy focus on the team’s powers and another glimpse at the still mostly hidden Doctor Doom.
