Miss You Already
The first photo is out of Toni Collette and Drew Barrymore in Catherine Hardwicke’s new film “Miss You already”. The story follows best friends who struggle to share their feelings as they face fertility issues and breast cancer. Dominic Cooper and Paddy Considine also star in the comedy drama due out October next year. [Source: Empire]

It has been almost a decade since “Starship Troopers” and “Robocop” director Paul Verheoven helmed a movie, and now he’s finally putting together his next – the psychological thriller “Elle” based on Philllippe Dijan’s novel “Oh…”.

Isabelle Huppert stars in the story of a businesswoman playing a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a stalker who raped her, a crime for which she seeks revenge. Filming begins in January. [Source: CinEuropa]

Magnolia Pictures has unveiled their U.S. release plans for Susanne Bier’s “Serena,” starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. The film will hit VOD first on February 26th, followed by a theatrical release a month later. The film will screen overseas first though with the U.K. getting it on October 24th. Lenny Abrahamson (“Frank”) is set to direct the film adaptation of Laird Hunt’s novel “Neverhome” for Element Pictures.

The story follows Ash Thompson, a farmer’s wife who becomes a Union soldier during the American Civil War. Thompson disguises herself as a man and goes on to become a hero during the war. [Source: EW]
