Mad Max: Fury Road
It may already be out on DVD, Blu-ray, Digital HD and every other current home video format known to man, but that isn’t stopping George Miller’s “Mad Max: Fury Road” from heading back to the cinema for one last victory lap. Future Aquaman star Jason Momoa will star in Lin Oeding’s action-thriller “Braven” for Highland Film Group. Thomas Pa’a Sibbett penned the script from a story by Mike Nilon while Nilon, Momoa, Brian Mendozan and Molly Hassell will produce.
Momoa plays Joe Braven, a humble logger residing along the U.S./Canada border, is confronted by a group of deadly drug runners in his secluded cabin in the mountains, he must do everything in his power to protect his family. [Source: HFG]
Dwayne Johnson has offered a brief update on the upcoming film adaptation of the Disneyland ride “Jungle Cruise”. Seems things are in very early development with John Requa and Glenn Ficarra having only just begun writing the script.

Johnny Depp raised the bar with Pirates of the Caribbean.. now it’s our turn at bat to take an iconic Disney attraction and hopefully turn it into something dope and cool. Seems the reports of “Spectre” and “Interstellar” cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema working on the “Wonder Woman” movie were premature. The Dutch-Swedish cinematographer was sought to confirm the story earlier today and he told The Playlist: “I have nothing to do with that movie”.
